Bazaarvoice's Contextual Commerce™ is an AI-powered solution designed to deliver real-time, personalized shopping experiences. It leverages behavioral data to present timely, relevant messages to shoppers, enhancing engagement and driving conversions.

Messaging Strategy

I helped craft messaging that clearly differentiated Contextual Commerce from traditional personalization, focusing on how real-time, in-the-moment decisioning drives better outcomes than static audience segmentation.

Our goal was to:

  • Create messaging that feels relevant and impactful to the end user, surfacing the why now? moment that drives engagement.

  • Capture attention without relying on gimmicks, using sharp, benefit-forward copy that highlights real value.

  • Develop generalized messaging that could flex across industries and client types—whether a specialty retailer or a global brand—while still feeling tailored and human.

Client Work & Case Studies

I contributed to the development of client success stories, including:

  • A global fashion retailer achieving a 7.7% conversion rate lift and $361 million in incremental revenue.

  • A specialty retailer's iOS app integration resulting in a $4.5 million revenue boost over four months. ​

These case studies were instrumental in demonstrating the real-world impact of our solutions.​

Prototype

To support the sales team and improve how we communicated the value of Contextual Commerce, I helped design and build an interactive prototype that walked potential clients through the core functionality of the product.
